Great framework. Is GenericSynchronizingObject supported in next upgrade?

Your GenericSynchronizingObject helped tremendously with a question I had here.  When the Nito library is next upgraded, what changes would I expect to be made with this component?  Especially regarding supporting Silverlight?

This is kind of off topic, but though your library works great for starting async threads and invoking events from threads to the UI thread, I still had thread safety problems when I didn't wish to invoke onto a thread.  I designed a project to prevent the troubles I was having with ReaderWriterLock and ReaderWriterLockSlim, so deadlocks aren't possible.

One, would you find this useful?  And two, just like your library, are things like ReaderWriterLockSlim depreciated in .NET 4.0?  I know a lot of non-blocking collections are designed into the framework, but are there still places where ReaderWriterLockSlim needs used?  Or do you think that functionality pretty much eliminated.
